Roy Wood Jr., the comic identified for his function on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” would be the entertainer on the 2023 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the affiliation introduced Thursday.

Proceeds from the dinner finance the WHCA and assist the group present journalism scholarships to college students.
