A Florida highschool pupil has been arrested after a video confirmed him attacking a college worker after she took away his Nintendo Switch gadget, in line with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
The Matanzas High School pupil has been charged with felony aggravated battery with bodily hurt, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned in a news launch.
The 17-year-old was taken into custody after the February 21 incident in Palm Coast and brought to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. He was then turned over to the state Department of Juvenile Justice, in line with the news launch.
According to an arrest report, the teenager acknowledged he was upset as a result of the worker had taken his Nintendo Switch gadget away and that he would “beat her up” each time she took away his sport.
Surveillance video exhibits the scholar, who the sheriff’s workplace says is about 6 ft, 6 inches tall and about 270 lbs, working in the direction of the worker and knocking her to the bottom.

“Creating a safe learning and working environment on our campuses is critical. Violence is never an appropriate reaction,” Flagler Coundy Schools Superintendent Cathy Mittelstadt mentioned within the sheriff’s workplace’s media launch,
Flagler County Schools on Saturday mentioned that out of respect for his or her worker’s privateness, it could not touch upon her medical situation right now.
