ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A Pinellas County lady discovered Tuesday with a hatchet protruding from her head died Sunday, simply days after her alleged attacker was arrested.
According to the sheriff’s workplace, deputies discovered the 56-year-old lady on the 4000 block of twenty fourth Street North in St. Petersburg. The sufferer, later recognized as Lisa Ann Rogers, 56, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening accidents from the hatchet assault.
Deputies mentioned Rogers resided in the identical dwelling with the suspect on the time of the incident.
Detectives later recognized Michel Dougherty, 40, because the suspect. Police mentioned Dougherty fled St. Petersburg and was finally situated in Gainesville.
