The National Weather Service suggested individuals within the Chicago space to hunt shelter on Wednesday evening after a twister was confirmed to be on the bottom close to O’Hare International Airport and transferring east towards downtown.
“To repeat, a tornado is on the ground,” the Weather Service wrote in an advisory at 7:03 p.m. “TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.”
The Weather Service stated that flying particles posed a risk to individuals outside and warned that cellular houses may very well be destroyed. There was some property injury, however no quick reviews of accidents or deaths, the authorities stated.

The newest twister warning for Cook County, Ill., which incorporates Chicago, Cicero and Evanston, expired at 7:45 p.m., the National Weather Service stated on Twitter.
And by 8:21 p.m., a twister watch in Cook County had been lifted, however remained in impact for some surrounding counties and a part of Indiana till 10 p.m.
