The police have been trying to find a gunman who they are saying killed 4 folks in a Georgia suburb on Saturday morning in a taking pictures with no recognized motive.
The taking pictures was reported at 10:45 a.m. in a residential neighborhood of Hampton, Ga., a metropolis roughly 35 miles south of Atlanta, James Turner, the Hampton police chief, stated at a news convention.
Three males and one lady have been killed, the chief stated on the news convention, and there have been “at least four crime scenes.” Officials didn’t publicly establish the victims and stated family members have been nonetheless being notified.
Four arrest warrants have been issued for Andre Longmore, 40, a Hampton resident, the authorities stated. A motive for the shootings was not but recognized, and it was unclear if Mr. Longmore knew the victims, officers stated.
Law enforcement businesses throughout the Atlanta metropolitan space have been trying to find Mr. Longmore, who was final seen driving a black GMC Acadia SUV. The chief stated the car didn’t belong to Mr. Longmore.
Addressing Mr. Longmore, the Henry County sheriff, Reginald B. Scandrett, stated on the news convention, “We will hunt you down in any hole that you may be residing in and bring you into custody.”
The sheriff’s workplace is providing a $10,000 reward for data resulting in Mr. Longmore’s arrest and prosecution, the sheriff stated.
“The city of Hampton has had a tragedy,” the mayor of Hampton, Ann Tarpley, stated. “We ask that you lift up the families and victims in your prayers and your thoughts and you give them the privacy they need.”
