Three folks had been killed by a gunman inside a Dollar General retailer in Jacksonville, Fla., in what the mayor stated was a “hate-filled crime.”
The gunman died after taking pictures himself, Sheriff T.Ok. Waters of Jacksonville stated at a news convention on Saturday night.
“This shooting was racially motivated, and he hated Black people,” Sheriff Waters stated.
As news of the taking pictures filtered by the group, folks shaped prayer circles outdoors the scene, which was cordoned off by the police.
The tv station Action News Jax reported earlier that there had been a standoff at a Dollar General retailer with a barricaded gunman.
