Hong Kong, Monday. — The riots on the French settlement at Shanghai are subsiding. Twenty-two Chinese have been killed and fifty wounded. The French sailors are sustaining a guard.
It is believed that the French intend to increase the boundaries of the settlement to Sica-Wei. The Chinese are incensed in opposition to the Taotai. Business is suspended.
