Instagram down for users globally

Photo and video-sharing app Instagram is down for customers globally. The purpose behind the outage has not but been ascertained.

As per Downdetector, 1000’s have reported points with the Meta-owned app within the final 24 hours.

While 42% of customers reported issues with the server, 37% mentioned they’d points with the app, as per Downdetector. About 21% of customers mentioned they confronted difficulties in accessing the Instagram feed.

Meta has not but acknowledged the outage.
