Google to let users respond to access requests for Workspace files easily

Google has launched a brand new file entry expertise to make it simpler for file approvers to answer pending entry requests throughout Google Workspace.

Currently, when customers request entry to a file, the approvers obtain an e mail with the choice to share the file or decline the request.

“With this update, users can review and respond to requests from within the file. Approvers will see a notification dot on the ‘Share’ button if they have a pending access request and a new banner at the top of the sharing dialogue,” Google stated in a blogpost on Tuesday.

Moreover, the corporate stated that the approvers can proceed to answer entry requests by the prevailing emails which can be despatched when customers request entry to information.

If the “Notify” checkbox is chosen when an approver responds to a request, the person who requested entry will obtain an e mail with the standing of the request.

The new replace is obtainable to all Google Workspace clients and customers with private Google Accounts.
