Ye’s Twitter account was suspended once more on Friday for violating the social media platform’s guidelines on “incitement to violence,” CEO Elon Musk mentioned.
The rapper, previously referred to as Kanye West, appeared to publish a picture of a swastika, an emblem synonymous with the Nazis, inside a Star of David, a outstanding image of Judaism.
Musk mentioned he “tried his best” in response to Ye’s tweet, which may not be seen. “Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”
Ye’s tweet got here after he made antisemetic feedback in an interview with the controversial radio host Alex Jones Thursday. Ye referred to “the Jewish media” and mentioned he noticed “good things about Hitler” in an hour-long dialog with the conspiracy theorist.
In October, Twitter locked Ye’s account for an unspecified period of time following a string of antisemitic remarks which escalated into threatening and hateful feedback about Jewish folks. He returned to Twitter in November.
Ye’s antisemitic outbursts have led to main industrial companions reducing offers with the rapper.
