When Jannik Sinner misplaced to Carlos Alcaraz two weeks in the past at Indian Wells, he knew precisely what to do: meet together with his group, determine what he wanted to work on, then put in some onerous yards.
“I think I changed a couple of things from Indian Wells to here, which I had to, and they went my way. So I’m happy about that,” he mentioned on Friday evening in Miami after edging Alcaraz to succeed in his second Masters 1009 closing.
What precisely did Sinner change? A reporter needed to know…
“I don’t say this,” Sinner mentioned. “But as I said, we changed something.”
