Rafael Nadal has added Argentinean experience to his teaching group.
The 22-time Grand Slam champion introduced Gustavo Marcaccio, who has coached on the Rafa Nadal Academy, has joined his teaching workers.

The 45-year-old Marcaccio, a Buenos Aires native, reached a career-high rating of No. 284 in 2004.
“Hello everyone. I want to inform you of the joining of Gustavo Marcaccio (????????) to the technical team,” Nadal introduced in an Instagram submit. “Gustavo has been working at the @rafanadalacademy since April 2021 and I understand he is a good addition to the team.
“It positive will assist us rather a lot to remain on the best way. Welcome Gustavo!”
Former world No. 1 Carlos Moya stays Nadal’s major coach. Marc Lopez, who partnered Nadal to the Olympic doubles gold medal on the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, additionally stays part of the second-ranked Spaniard’s teaching group. The teaching addition comes a few days after long-time coach Francisco Roig formally departed Nadal’s workers.
The king of clay didn’t face Marcaccio when their time on the ATP Tour overlapped. However former world No. 1 Moya met Marcaccio as soon as on Tour scoring a 6-1, 7-5 win within the 2006 Estoril Open spherical of 16.
Nadal will launch protection of his Australian Open championship in Melbourne subsequent month.
The Australian Open begins on January 16, 2023.
