Madison Keys superior to the Eastbourne International last by beating seventh-ranked Coco Gauff 6-3, 6-3 on Friday.
It was Keys’ first grass-court victory over a top-10 participant since beating Angelique Kerber for the Eastbourne title in 2014.
Keys took management of the primary set by breaking Gauff to 3-2 within the Wimbledon warm-up event. After preventing off a break level of her personal within the subsequent sport, she ultimately closed out the set with one other break.
