Broncos captain Adam Reynolds have revealed the frontrunners for Brisbane’s vacant fullback and five-eigthth positions as a lot of gamers stay in a heated choice battle.
Reece Walsh, Herbie Farnworth and wanataway Tesi Niu are all battling for the No.1 jersey and coach Kevin Walters revealed there wasn’t a transparent frontrunner to begin on the again in 2023.
The Red Hill aspect secured the marquee signature of younger gun Walsh in July and the expertise halfback is tipping the 20-year-old to get the nod, whereas Farnworth will seemingly ply his commerce within the centres.

“(Walsh) is pretty good out the back,” Reynolds mentioned to The Daily Telegraph.
“We’ve had a couple of sessions already and things are moving pretty nicely.
“It’s just about continually working on our relationship both on and off the field, making sure we have the chemistry so we can click when it counts.
“We just have to find out what works best for us as a club.
“(Farnworth) has played in the centres for England at the World Cup and he had a terrific World Cup.
“He definitely showed what he’s capable of and that was coming back after a pretty significant injury. We just have to get him on board and fit and healthy again.

Meanwhile, younger gun Ezra Mam is locked in a battle with new recruit Jock Madden for the No.6 jersey.
While Madden made the change from the Tigers searching for common first grade soccer, Reynolds is tipping Mam to begin in opposition to the Panthers in Round 1, regardless of being dropped final within the 2022 season.
“I think (Mam) showed enough with what he did last (season). He came in under a lot of pressure and handled it better than most,” Reynolds mentioned.
“He’s still a young fella but he’s tough. He’s only going to get better throughout the pre-season.”
