SHARKS TO LOCK IN TRY-SCORING MACHINE
Sharks winger Sione Katoa is ready to re-sign on a three-year deal, based on News Corp.
Katoa’s present contract is because of expire on the finish of the season and he is likely one of the 5 backline gamers the Sharks have been busy to lock in.
The first domino fell when Ronaldo Mulitalo re-signed on a two-year deal final August, earlier than Sioisifa Talakai re-signed on a three-year deal over the low season.

HARPER SHUTS DOWN SWAP DEAL REPORTS
Manly centre Morgan Harper has shut down stories that he may transfer to the Eels in a swap take care of out-of-favour ahead Nathan Brown.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported earlier this month that the Sea Eagles and Eels have been contemplating the participant swap.
Harper is caught behind Brad Parker and Tolu Koula within the centres, whereas Brown has fallen down the pecking order at Parramatta too — and has been given permission to discover his choices.
However, chatting with Code Sports, Harper revealed new Manly coach Anthony Seibold assured him he isn’t going wherever.
“Seibs (Anthony Seibold) came in and we spoke about it. He was just saying it wasn’t going to happen,” Harper stated.
“I love it here and I’ll be working hard trying to get some results for Manly.
“I came into pre-season this year with a fresh mindset of trying to lock down a spot, and I’ll keep working hard to do that.”
“(Seibold) is just a bit different (to former coach Des Hasler) — he’s very good at what he does. I’ve enjoyed being under him and everyone’s just having a crack.”
Both Harper and Brown come off contract on the finish of the season.
