In a press release supplied to The Sydney Morning Herald, NSW Police confirmed its investigation was “now complete”.

Meanwhile the boy’s father, who was seated in a distinct space, reportedly advised police his son “shouldn’t have said what he said”, in response to The Daily Telegraph.
NRL chief govt Andrew Abdo referred to as the alleged abuse “completely unacceptable” within the wake of the incident.
