Payne Haas’ supervisor has revealed the Broncos ahead obtained a proposal from an NFL membership as he prepares to check his worth on the open market.
The Broncos have been rocked by the news on Thursday that the NSW Origin star will open talks with rivals from November 1 as he chases an NRL premiership win.
Haas’ supervisor Ahamd Merhi informed the Courier Mail the 23-year-old has curiosity from all 16 of the Broncos rivals along with worldwide rugby union.

But it was the revelation of curiosity from the United States that may flip heads.
“Payne actually got an offer from an NFL club,” Merhi informed the Courier Mail.
“They called me in March. They felt Payne had the size and dimensions to make it, but their roles seem pretty structured to me.
“The NFL team was genuine about taking him overseas to a camp.
“They wanted Payne to go to a testing camp outside the US where they bring in different athletes from sports around the world.”
Merhi stated Haas “shut it down pretty quickly” and added his expectation was that they younger star will keep loyal to Kevin Walters and the Broncos.

According to the report, Merhi will meet with the Broncos on Friday to proceed contract talks with a $3 million, three-year extension on the desk.
It can be a significant improve on Haas’ present $850,000 a season deal.
He has beforehand been linked to the Bulldogs and Roosters.
There are already a lot of Australians within the NFL together with NRL convert Jordan Mailata who performed within the Super Bowl with the Philadelpia Eagles and Daniel Faalele, who was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens.
It’s not the primary time there’s been curiosity in Haas from the American sport.
Before he linked up with the Broncos, Amercian College soccer packages and even one NFL group reached out.
“They approached my agent, but I wasn’t really into it,” Haas informed the Sydney Morning Herald in 2019.
“I wanted to play NRL first – that was my main goal as a kid growing up.
“There were a few of them [colleges interested]. I think the Colts – the Indianapolis Colts – they had a look, too. I think that was it,” he stated.
At the time Haas made it clear his rapid future was within the NRL however left the door open for a change later in his profession.
“Obviously I have a few goals that I want to tick off between now and then.
“If that time comes around I will obviously have a look at it. We will see what happens.”
