Dragons veteran Aaron Woods has opened up on reviews he’s a part of a swap take care of Manly, stating “I’m still a Dragon…but it could change.”
On Saturday, the Daily Telegraph reported the Dragons and Manly had been on the verge of a deal which might sends Woods to the northern seashores for the rest of the season. It comes after the Dragons pushed for the early launch of promising Sea Eagles duo Viliame Fifita and Alec Tuitavake.
Speaking on the Footy Talk podcast, the 32-year-old support that he’s conscious of the potential switch however at this stage he’s “still fully committed to the Dragons”.

“The Dragons are trying to get a couple of young kids from Manly and they want them as soon as possible so I think what’s happened is that they’ve (Dragons) reached out to Manly asking for a swap deal,” Woods stated.
“The club reached out to my management on Saturday and they are just going through all the finer details and all that sort of stuff now, but nothing has happened as of yet.”
Woods was named as 18th man within the facet’s 40-8 loss towards the Sharks on Sunday.

“The coaches understand and as I understand and it could be a good opportunity for me and a opportunity for the Dragons to add some young talent.
Footy Talk co-host and suspended Sharks forward Wade Graham added: “No player in any team that I’ve been apart of would hold any hard feelings towards a player in a situation like this.
“The club wants to go after two young blokes to restock and rebuild maybe, and then there’s the chance for another player who hasn’t got an opportunity this season to get an opportunity at another club.”
Manly coach Anthony Siebold wouldn’t touch upon the potential swap in his post-match press convention after his facet’s 13-12 loss to the Rabbitohs on Saturday evening.
