Former Queensland consultant Josh McGuire’s quick UK stint is over, with the Warrington Wolves releasing the 33-year-old after a second suspension for unacceptable language in direction of a rival participant.
McGuire was first suspended for seven video games after an incident throughout a pre-season sport towards Leigh.
He was then suspended for 12 video games when Leigh winger Josh Charnley alleged the previous Queensland consultant made derogatory feedback about his household when the 2 groups met once more later within the season.

That can be the ultimate straw for the Wolves, who stated in a membership assertion that McGuire has left the membership “by mutual agreement with immediate effect”.
“McGuire has now returned to Australia with his family. We wish Josh well in his next chapter,” the membership assertion learn.
McGuire’s father Adam, has since gone into bat for his son on social media, questioning Charnley’s model of occasions.
“What was said (to Charnley) is ‘you are a rat’,” Adam McGuire stated as per Channel 9.
“At no stage did he say anything derogatory about his family members as his own three-year-old daughter is deaf and quite a few family members have physical or mental disabilities.
“His own club didn’t send through player supporting statements in the first instance, which may have stopped the tribunal going ahead in the first game.”

McGuire wasn’t finished, labelling Charnley a “rat”.
“How could he win when he had two supporting statements that weren’t considered to be worthy from two of the players that were in the tackle where Josh ‘The Rat’ Charnley heard nasty words said and nobody else in the entire stadium heard it.
“All anyone seen or heard was The Rat running to the touchie whinging about some harsh truths.
“As for Josh McGuire he is already on a plane back to Australia as his coach or club didn’t want him anymore. He has played with head knocks and he was told not to report it. He cannot feel his hand due to a shoulder injury.

“The club wouldn’t scan it in case they found out it was damaged … Quite frankly the local A grade competitions are better supported and treated.
“I’m glad my son and family are coming home.”
McGuire, a former Bronco, Cowboy and Dragon, had signed with Warrington for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, however now finds himself again in Australia after simply seven video games with the Wolves.
Warrington has since responded to Adam McGuire’s outburst, labelling it “fanciful and most of it untrue.”
