Chennaiyin FC bid goodbye to India worldwide Anirudh Thapa after seven years on the membership.
Thapa was the longest-serving participant on the two-time Indian Super League (ISL) champion and was a fan-favourite on the ‘Marina Arena’.
The 25-year-old central midfielder has accomplished a switch to Mohun Bagan Super Giants, which acquired his providers after paying a Rs. 3 crore in payment to Chennaiyin.
Thapa joined Chennaiyin in 2016 and made his debut within the 2015-16 season and later went on to play a vital position within the 2017-18 ISL-winning season.
The Dehradun-born footballer has 125 appearances for CFC with 13 objectives and likewise led the membership to the ISL last in 2019-20 and the Super Cup last in 2019.
Thapa was the membership captain for the final two seasons.
