NEW DELHI: Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag praised the promising expertise Yashasvi Jaiswal for drawing inspiration from the legendary Virat Kohli’s strategy in his quest to rework half-centuries into centuries.
Yashasvi, a talented left-handed batsman, at the moment holds the spectacular third place within the Orange Cap leaderboard.
“Yashasvi Jaiswal is a future star. He’s learnt the art of converting 50s into 100s from Virat Kohli. Several batters throw their wickets after scoring 13-ball 50 but Yashasvi looks to build on. He’s got that temperament to play big knocks,” Virender Sehwag informed Star Sports.
Yashasvi has scored 575 runs in 13 matches at a median of 47.92, together with one century and 4 fifties underneath his belt.
Yashasvi is simply behing RCB’s Faf du Plessis (702 runs) and GT’s Shubman Gill (576 runs) in essentially the most run getters tally.
