WPL 2023: Emerging Player of the Season: Who is nominated, eligibility criteria

The inaugural version of the Women’s Premier League is previous its midway mark, and a number of other younger skills have set the event on fireplace with their performances.

At the top of the season, one in all them can be adjudged the rising participant of the event. The BCCI has launched the motivation to reward a participant who has greatest demonstrated, by means of her performances through the season, her potential to be a future star of worldwide cricket. To be eligible for the Emerging Player Award, a participant should meet all 4 of the next standards:

1. Should be born after 1 April 1997; and

2. Should have performed in 25 or much less T20 matches (as of the beginning of the season);

The winner can be chosen by a mix of a public vote on www.wplt20.com and the selection of the tv commentators.
