India sealed a complete 86-run win over Scotland in an Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup sport at Willowmoore Park in Benoni, South Africa on Wednesday.
India, which selected to bat first, constructed on Gongadi Trisha’s half-century to submit a difficult whole of 151-4. She was ably supported by Richa Ghosh and Shweta Sehrawat, with the latter’s 31 from 10 balls in the long run stage, boosting India to a powerful place.
Scotland started the chase strongly, earlier than skipper Shafali Varma launched spin. Mannat Kashyap emerged because the wrecker-in-chief with a four-wicket haul as Scottish batters battle to cope with her crazy left-arm spin.
With Archana Devi and Sonam Yadav attacking in tandem, Kashyap helped India wrap the Scottish innings contained in the 14th over for 61, to reward her facet a 3rd win on the trot.
