Indian cricket group’s wicketkeeper and batsman Rishabh Pant met with an accident after his automotive hit the divider close to Manglore police station in Roorkee on Friday morning. Pant suffered accidents in his leg and head and is being moved to a non-public hospital in Dehradun for remedy.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Haridwar, Mr. Ajay Singh, advised Sportstar that Pant’s Mercedes Benz automotive hit the divider and caught hearth. The accident happened round 5:30 am.
“It was miraculous escape as he managed to get out of the car on his own as the window panes of the vehicle were smashed after hitting the divider. The BCCI in a press release later acknowledged: “India wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant met with a car accident early on Friday morning near Roorkee, Uttarakhand. He was admitted to Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre, where he was treated for impact injuries.
Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back. Rishabh’s condition remains stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment.
The BCCI is in constant touch with Rishabh’s family, while the Medical Team is in close contact with the doctors currently treating Rishabh. The Board will see to it that Rishabh receives the best possible medical care and gets all the support he needs to come out of this traumatic phase.”
Police sources mentioned that Pant’s automotive was at a really excessive pace on the time of hitting the divider, whereas some say the accident occurred on account of heavy fog on the freeway. He was travelling alone. He was on his approach residence, in Roorkee, from Delhi.
