Fast bowler Kuldeep Sen and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed have been named replacements for Dayal and Jadeja for the sequence beginning December 4.
Jadeja had undergone a knee surgical procedure after the Asia Cup in UAE and was then dominated out for an indefinite interval.

“Dayal has a lower back issue and is ruled out of the series while Jadeja is yet to recover from his knee injury and will continue to be under the supervision of the BCCI Medical team,” BCCI press launch said.
Both Sen and Shahbaz have been presupposed to journey to New Zealand for the three-match ODI sequence starting in Auckland on Friday. However, they are going to now be part of the squad travelling to Bangladesh. No replacements have been named for the ODI squad presently in New Zealand.
