Padma Awards 2023 sports winners: Kalarippayattu master SRD Prasad, Thangta Guru K Sanathoiba Sharma, cricket coach Gurcharan Singh honoured

Three seasoned coaches throughout numerous bodily disciplines have been bestowed the Padma Shri awards within the 2023 honours checklist launched by the Government of India.

The President of India on Wednesday accredited the conferment of 106 Padma Awards, amongst which three have been awarded to sportspersons.

Okay Shanathoiba Sharma (Manipur), SRD Prasad (Kerala) and Gurcharan Singh (Delhi) will probably be honoured with the Padma Shri for distinguished service of their respective fields at a ceremonial perform within the Rashtrapati Bhawan in March or April .
