MUMBAI: The iconic ODI World Cup Trophy will arrive on the Bombay Scottish School in Mahim on Tuesday as a part of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) promotional ‘Trophy Tour’ in numerous cities internationally.
The event will probably be performed throughout 10 cities in India from October 5 to November 19.
“We will be getting the World Cup to our school tomorrow (Tuesday). This is a part of the ‘Trophy Tour’. The trophy travelled from Kolkata to Leh from where it is coming to Mumbai. We are the only school in Mumbai to get this rare opportunity to host the trophy,” Bombay Scottish principal Sunita George informed TOI.
“20 school cricket teams are coming on the occasion,” she added.
