Nitin Menon and Kumar Dharmasena from India will function the on-field umpires, whereas former tempo bowler Javagal Srinath will tackle the position of match referee.
Paul Wilson would be the TV umpire, and Saikat will function the fourth umpire for the event opener, which shall be held in Ahmedabad.
For the thirteenth version of the event, a complete of sixteen umpires have been chosen, comprising all twelve members of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and 4 people from the ICC Emerging Umpire Panel.
The skilled group consists of three of the 4 umpires who officiated the 2019 ultimate at Lord’s: Dharmasena, Marais Erasmus, and Rod Tucker. The just one lacking from that quartet is Aleem Dar, who stepped down from the Elite Panel in March of this 12 months.
The Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees shall be represented on the occasion by a quartet of former worldwide cricketers: Jeff Crowe, Andy Pycroft, Richie Richardson, and Srinath.
These match officers have been appointed for all the League section of the event, with choices for the semi-finals and ultimate to be introduced at a later date.
