NEW DELHI: With the inaugural version of Women’s Premier League set to start from March 4, Mumbai Indians have kick-started their camp beneath the watchful eyes of the teaching crew, led by Charlotte Edwards.
Mumbai will play the opener towards Gujarat Giants on the primary day of the competitors itself on the DY Patil Stadium.
“It’s been brilliant. It’s been great to get the team out here. Obviously, our own venue and to see the players, it’s been brilliant for me. Heard a lot about these players and to finally get them into the nets and watch them in action it’s been fantastic,” mentioned head coach Charlotte Edwards.
The match will run from March 4-26.
Mumbai’s Brabourne and DY Patil Stadiums will host all of the matches that can be performed over 23 days.
