JAIPUR: Made to heat the benches for a lot of the Ranji Trophy season final 12 months, leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi has determined to modify from Rajasthan to Gujarat for the upcoming home season.
Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) secretary Bhawani Singh Samota confirmed the transfer. “RCA gave him the NoC a few days back. We did not want him to leave Rajasthan, but he insisted that there are better opportunities for him in Gujarat,” the RCA secretary instructed TOI.
Bishnoi is at the moment in Ahmedabad attending Gujarat’s preparatory camp for the 2023-24 season.
Bishnoi, who represents Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) within the IPL, posted a narrative on Instagram on Monday through which he will be seen carrying a Gujarat Cricket Association’s jersey with the caption, ‘New beginnings’.

Bishnoi, who made his first-class debut final 12 months, was ignored by the Rajasthan administration as a result of they thought of him a “shorter-format player”.
He was given just one sport, through which he took two wickets in opposition to Puducherry. The 22-year-old from Jodhpur made his List ‘A’ debut in 2019 and made his worldwide debut in February 2022 in opposition to West Indies within the T20 format.
