In the primary ODI towards New Zealand on Wednesday, star allrounder Hardik Pandya was dismissed in controversial style because the third umpire’s choice left Indian followers disenchanted in Hyderabad. A supply from Daryl Mitchell cramped Pandya for room and as a result of additional bounce, the Indian batter ended up lacking it fully. It appeared just like the ball went over the stumps, and the bails had been dislodged. The scenario was not clear as there was a chance that the stumps had been disturbed by Tom Latham‘s gloves.
After TV replays, the third umpire deemed that the ball had clipped the bails, turning on its mild earlier than being caught by the wicketkeeper. However, movies steered that the bails had been dislodged by the wicketkeeper’s gloves and never by the ball. Hardik Pandya was declared bowled out at 28 off 38 balls.
The choice didn’t go down effectively with Hardik Pandya’s spouse Natasa Stankovic. She took to instagram to let her opinion recognized. “There was no bat involved, wasn’t bowled out. So how’s this out?” she wrote in an Instagram story together with a photograph of the incident.
