The Asia Cup 2023 ODI event commenced on August 30 in Multan with host Pakistan defeating debutant Nepal by 238 runs.
The event is performed in a double-round robin format with six groups break up into two teams. The high two groups from each teams will qualify for the Super 4 stage.
Group A contains of India, Pakistan and Nepal whereas group B consists of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
