The Milky Way could contain thousands of stars from another galaxy

The Milky Way may comprise hundreds of stars that have been expelled from Andromeda, our closest galactic neighbour – and should even have introduced planets with them.

Some stars within the Milky Way are transferring so quick that they’ll escape our galaxy’s gravitational pull, which raises the query of whether or not equally speedy stars may exist in, and probably go away, different galaxies as properly.
