Terracotta Army shoes reveal secrets of ancient Chinese footwear

Shoes worn by the soldiers of the primary emperor of China, famously depicted by the Terracotta Army, have been surprisingly versatile and slip resistant, in line with a reconstruction of the traditional footwear.
