The ticks that may infect folks with Lyme illness have expanded their vary northwards in North America and Eurasia because the local weather warms. Now a research has discovered that the micro organism that trigger Lyme illness could help this growth by boosting the survival charge of overwintering ticks.

“This infection helps them get through some of these difficult winters,” says Shelley Adamo at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. “It really has a big punch in terms of population numbers.”
