Talvikangas in Finland was hit by 26 “frost quakes” in simply 7 hours in January, a brand new evaluation has discovered, in what’s regarded as the best focus of the phenomenon ever recorded.
The flurry of frost quakes – often known as ice quakes or cryoseisms – occurred between 4am and 11am on 6 January, startling native residents with a collection of loud cracking sounds coming from the bottom.
