Countries representing seven of the world’s largest economies have introduced an alliance to enhance the sustainability of mining minerals important to decarbonisation. The announcement was made on the COP15 biodiversity summit at present underway in Montreal.
Critical minerals like cobalt, lithium, copper and a slew of uncommon substances like ignium and tellurium are utilized in many electronics, batteries and renewable power applied sciences.
