Satellite photographs of vegetation rising across the dens of Arctic foxes add to the proof that the foxes are “ecosystem engineers” whose actions create habitat for different organisms.
Against the cruel tundra, the dens of Arctic foxes (Vulpes lagopus) stand out like islands of inexperienced.
