Huma Qureshi goes to play the lead in ‘Tarla,’ a movie concerning the journey of the legendary Tarla Dalal from a house chef to a cookbook creator and culinary star. Ahead of the film’s launch tomorrow (7 July 2023), the actress sat down with NDTV at Saleem’s in Delhi. The iconic Mughlai restaurant model is owned by her father, Saleem Qureshi. As they feasted on batata musallam, khameeri roti, seekh kebabs and extra, Huma gave us a quick glimpse into her foodie habits.

Wondering what her favorite dish on the restaurant is? Turns out, it is the mutton seekh kebab. And the temporary glimpse we bought of it within the video solely left our mouths watering too! Huma additionally revealed that her childhood pals was once fairly envious of her. After all, she might eat so many lip-smacking Mughlai treats at Saleem’s, anytime. But after some time, it appears that evidently she reached some extent of satiety. She defined, “I would come into the restaurant and order a dosa.
