Emily Blunt stated that Tom Cruise swore at her whereas she was crying on the set of the 2014 film Edge of Tomorrow.
The position required two and a half months of coaching, which included figuring out with weighted vests attributable to how heavy the costumes have been over the five-month shoot. Indeed, it was the burden of the armor that introduced Emily to tears someday on set.
“When you hear the word ‘tactile,’ you think that sounds nice and cozy — there was nothing cozy about these suits. Mine was, like, 85 pounds; it was so heavy. The first time I put it on, I started to cry in front of Tom, and he didn’t know what to do.”
Emily continued, “He just stared at me and was like, ‘I know, I know.’ I was like, ‘Tom, I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this shoot’ and just started to cry. I said, ‘I’m feeling a bit panicky about the whole shoot.'”
“He just stared at me for a long time, not knowing what to do, and he goes, ‘Come on, stop being such a pussy, OK?’ I did laugh, and then we got through it,” she stated with one other chuckle.
What’s extra, Emily really acquired injured on the set of the film. She nearly broke her nostril training one aerial stunt — to which Tom apparently advised her, “Yeah! First stunt injury!” She even reportedly stated that the fits injured her ribs and collarbone to the extent that they are “still dodgy” now.
Anyone else assume this sounds extraordinarily unprofessional and horrible???
