The movie is banned in West Bengal and multiplexes in Tamil Nadu have stopped its screening citing regulation and order state of affairs, whereas BJP-ruled states like Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have given it a tax-free standing.
A large controversy erupted across the movie after its trailer claimed that 32,000 ladies from Kerala had gone lacking and joined the terrorist group ISIS.
