Sameer Vidwans on patriarchal society
Sameer stated the film goals to sensitise males to turn out to be an ally of girls in tackling the patriarchal mindset of society. “This is a story of a feminist husband. “(But) I think the critics missed out the dialogue where Sattu says, ‘I will be the supporting character of your story.’ He says it twice in the movie. He doesn’t say that I will save you and become a hero. But he says that you have to become the hero, and I will provide the support,” he stated.
“The battle has to be fought by the girl and this is what he tells her. So he is just a pillar of support for her,” he added.
How Guilty helped Kiara for Satyaprem Ki Katha
Kiara’s expertise on her 2020 film Guilty, which tackled comparable themes, got here in useful when she began engaged on Satyaprem Ki Katha, stated the director.

“If I can provide a message by means of my artwork, then it is going to be even higher. So once I heard the script, I realised that it checked all of the packing containers, that it’s in Hindi, it’s entertaining and has a message. There was no cause for me to say no to it,” he continued.
For Sameer, the movie turned out to be a tricky gig as he didn’t want to be “preachy” in his approach. He said, “We knew that we have been coping with a delicate topic and hoped to offer a superb message. We wished to offer the message together with leisure. Sameer is happy about fans’ reaction to the film
The filmmaker said he is happy with the way Satyaprem Ki Katha has been received by the audiences. “I really feel good, truly nice that we got here out with a superb topic and it has been appreciated and embraced by the viewers.
