Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is directed by Karan Johar and produced by his house banner Dharma Productions. This marks the return of Karan Johar as a director after six years. The filmmakers stayed away from the director’s chair for the previous few years. His final directorial was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Fawad Khan, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The eagerly awaited film is a romantic comedy entertainer starring Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. Apart from them Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra may also play essential roles in Karan Johar’s directorial. Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim has labored as assistant director for the film. Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios are producing Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film will arrive in theaters on twenty eighth July 2023.
