After that dazzling look at Indian Sports Honours with husband Virat Kohli on Thursday, Anushka Sharma attended one other occasion in Mumbai on Friday, albeit a bit extra solo this time. She was seen on the Bollywood Hungama Style Icon Awards in a lovely gown, posing for the paparazzi.
Anushka wore a black, tailor-made gown to the occasion and paired it with a powerful Serpenti necklace from Bulgari. As she arrived on the pink carpet, the photographers began screaming her title and calling her ‘Mrs Kohli’.
The actor laughed at their antics and mentioned, “Relax! Why are you all shouting? Wait! Mere kaan (my ears)… I have not recovered from the shouting from yesterday.” When the photographers mentioned that they missed her at such occasions, she laughed and mentioned ‘mere kaan bajj rahe hai (my ears are ringing).”
Also on the occasion, Anushka met Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon on the pink carpet. All three posed collectively and Anushka even gave Kriti a good hug.
Anushka and Virat seemed like the right couple on Thursday’s occasion. Virat was wearing a black swimsuit whereas Anushka wore a purple gown with black particulars. They met Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, Angad Bedi-Neha Dhupia on the occasion as effectively.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli on Wednesday introduced the merger of their respective foundations and launched a brand new initiative, known as SeVVA. In a joint assertion, the Bollywood star and Indian cricketer mentioned the brand new initiative will assist folks in want and isn’t confined to any explicit trigger.
“In the words of Kahlil Gibran ‘For in truth it is life that gives unto life- while you, who deem yourself a giver, are but a witness’. With this sentiment in mind, we have decided to work together through SeVVA aiming to reach out to as many people as possible.
“SeVVA’s work will not be confined to a selected subject as it is going to proceed to try for social good by championing humanity which is the necessity of the hour in the present day,” the star couple mentioned.
