Dunzo cofounder and Dunzo4Business (D4B) head Dalvir Suri mentioned the logistics aggregator agency is working, together with the government-supported Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), to cater to intracity final mile supply of merchandise.
“In a year’s time or 18 months’ time, along with ONDC and my b2b logistics business, we do see ourselves entering into 10 to 15 new cities,” Suri mentioned.
He mentioned that at current, D4B has a presence in about 10 cities.
The firm joined the ONDC platform a couple of 12 months in the past and, at the moment, claims to be serving 60-70 per of the overall order obtained on the platform for the final mile supply, apart from orders obtained on Dunzo for supply of groceries and another retailers.
“Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai are four cities where they (ONDC users) are putting most of the orders. They are scaling the network as we speak, and we are pretty much present in all the cities with them. For us, it adds a new revenue channel to run more orders on the network; this means more efficiency in bringing down the cost,” Suri mentioned.

He mentioned that D4B, by way of income, has achieved unit economics constructive and can give attention to scaling up the business within the subsequent 12-18 months. The firm at current works with over 70,000 supply companions throughout 10 cities.
Suri mentioned that grocery, meals and pharma are the highest classes that individuals are ordering, with a median order ticket measurement of Rs 200-4,000 and the corporate will cater supply of all merchandise that may be delivered on two-wheelers.
