The occasion can be led by the Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar. Earlier, the IT ministry had organised two roadshows in Gujarat and Bangalore, respectively.
At the occasion on Friday, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is more likely to unveil the names of two extra startups chosen for the design linked incentive scheme. So far, about 25 startups have been chosen to obtain incentives beneath the DLI scheme.
“The incentives are in the range of Rs 20-30 crore each. With the government providing the seed capital, these startups are also able to go out and seek commercial capital from different market players,” a senior authorities official informed ET.
Earlier on the second roadshow held in Bengaluru, Chandrasekhar had introduced the launch of ChipIN Centre at C-DAC India, which might act as a one-stop centre to assist corporations get entry to semiconductor design instruments, fabless chip designers and digital prototyping lab.
