The Sydney Roosters have axed younger gun halfback Sam Walker after the Tricolours membership has suffered back-to-back losses.
Walker, 20 is thought to be among the best rising gamers within the NRL with the Roosters heavily-invested in growing the no.7.
But after struggling back-to-back losses by the hands of the Melbourne Storm and Cronulla Sharks, Roosters coach Trent Robinson has opted to ship Walker again to the NSW Cup.

Walker has performed 52 NRL video games for the Roosters on the age of 20 with the membership typically referencing how they’ve “held a mirror up” when it comes to educating the highly-regarded playmaker.
The growing no.7 has performed 21 NRL video games for the Roosters in 2021, 25 video games in 2022 and 6 video games this season.
