Reddit users tricked into paying for AI-generated nude images of woman

As synthetic intelligence (AI) comes of age within the ChatGPT period, nude pictures of an AI-generated girl have tricked social media customers into paying to purchase these faux pictures.

Reddit customers have been paying for nude pictures of a faux, AI-generated girl referred to as Claudia.

One such picture attracted a whole bunch of feedback, with one consumer writing “you’re looking very pretty”, with one other including “holy crap, you are beautiful”, stories Independent.

However, some customers noticed the faux pictures too.

A report in Rolling Stone claimed that the account of Claudia was created by two laptop science college students.

“You could say this whole account is just a test to see if you can fool people with AI pictures,” the creators of Claudia had been quoted as saying.

“You could compare it to the vtubers, they create their own characters and play as an entirely different person. We honestly didna¿t think it would get this much traction,” they added.The Reddit account, the place the picture of Claudia first appeared, has now launched verification for its members.

The college students who created the faux account claimed that they managed to earn $100 (over Rs 8,100) from the faux pictures.

On platforms comparable to Instagram, Reddit, Twitter, and OnlyFans, the AI creators have been asking viewers to pay or subscribe in the event that they need to see extra content material.
