Despite proudly owning the No.6 jersey for the final fortnight, Matt Frawley will end up with the Raiders on the finish of the season to return to the Super League.
The 28-year-old Canberra product was developed within the Raiders’ system earlier than becoming a member of the Bulldogs and making his NRL debut in 2017.
He made the transfer to England in 2019 to play for Huddserfield earlier than returning to the nation’s capital in 2020.

LISTEN TO TOM TRBOJEVIC ON THE FOX LEAGUE PODCAST BELOW
Manly celebrity Tom Trbojevic joins the podcast to have a look again over his embellished journey in rugby league.
Frawley has performed 22 video games for the Raiders over the past 4 seasons and has turn out to be a key member of the backbone with Jack Wighton shifting to the centres for the final two video games.
But he’ll head again over to the UK subsequent season after signing a two-year take care of Super League membership Leeds.
“Canberra is my home and I’ve loved every minute of being back in Canberra and playing for the Raiders and I want to thank the club for giving me a chance to come back home and play here,” Frawley stated by way of membership assertion.
“I’ve been given the opportunity to head back to the Super League on a two-year deal and I’ll be finishing up with the Raiders at the end of the season.”
“Matt has been a wonderful contributor since returning to the club in 2023 and has always given 100 per cent every time he’s taken the field at either NRL or NSW Cup level,” Raiders CEO Don Furner stated.
“We want to thank him for the work and commitment he’s shown over his four years back in Canberra and wish him all the best at his new club.”
Frawley has developed a ‘Mr. Fix It’ on the Raiders this season, filling in at five-eighth, halfback and lock.
He’s been named at five-eighth for the Raiders’ elimination ultimate towards the Knights this weekend.
Frawley’s departure will depart a giant gap within the Raiders’ playmaking shares given Wighton is off to the Rabbitohs subsequent season and fellow back-up half Brad Schneider left mid-season for the Super League.
