The iconic Lusail Stadium that hosted the FIFA World Cup remaining final yr will host the opening and remaining matches of the AFC Asian Cup, the native organising committee introduced on Monday.
The event will kick off with defending champion Qatar taking over Lebanon in Group A on January 12 whereas the ultimate is scheduled to be performed on February 10. Qatar has beforehand hosted the event in 1988 and 2011 and is the defending champion, having received the 2019 version.
The high two groups from every group and the 4 greatest third-placed groups will advance to the Round of 16.
The Indian staff is grouped with 2015 champion Australia, Uzbekistan and Syria in Group B and can start its marketing campaign in opposition to the Socceroos on January 13.
